What happens
Clark Kent, Jimmy Orton and Tumbleweed Jones face threats from Abner Cheney and his gunmen in the oil boom town of Lost Valley. Jimmy is nearly shot while riding for help, and Superman rescues him by turning the bullet aside. Cheney's henchman Lacey is left at a quicksand pit with Tumbleweed, who prays before he is abandoned there, and Superman later pulls Tumbleweed free. Clark and Jimmy then visit a nearby archery range, where Clark's arrow lands in a hollow and Jimmy finds a silver arrow with an inscribed verse. The episode is part ten of the Superman series, first broadcast on October 27, 1941.
