What happens
Dan Lawson, mortally wounded after refusing to join Abner Cheney's murder plot against Tumbleweed Jones, rides to the ranch to confess before he dies. Jimmy Olsen helps him inside, but Lawson's dying words warn that Tumbleweed is in danger. Clark Kent is away at the Comanche Reservation, where he presses Chief Running Fox for a bullet from the killing. Jimmy, riding alone through the night, is thrown from his horse and left unconscious while Chuck Connors closes in with a rifle. This Superman serial episode from The Adventures of Superman, first aired October 24, 1941, presents the story as it stands at this point.
