What happens
Superman searches through thick river fog for Jimmy Olsen and Mary Hennessey, who were captured by counterfeiters after Jimmy dropped Mary's Superman Crusader ring from a window to a passing tugboat. Pearly and his henchman Herman hold the two youngsters and Biff Morgan at the edge of a house roof above the river. Superman arrives in time to stop Herman, and the gang is taken into custody. Afterward, Inspector Henderson thanks Clark Kent and discusses the fate of Biff, while Jimmy and Mary worry about their lost rings. The episode closes with Clark Kent's unexpected letter to his colleagues at the Daily Planet.
