What happens

Clark Kent investigates a Superman Crusader ring reported to have fallen from the sky onto a river tugboat, while Jimmy Olsen and Mary Hennig remain captives of a counterfeiting gang. Kent questions the tug's crewman Fred Taylor about where the boat was when the ring landed, and works out a theory based on the fog and the river's course. Meanwhile the gang's enforcer Herman brings Biff Morgan to the room where the two young prisoners are held. This is part 13 of The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on November 4, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
