What happens
Clark Kent is convinced that Mary Henning, a reformed juvenile gang leader, is innocent of dealing in counterfeit money, and he hopes a plan will clear her and expose a larger counterfeiting ring. Mary and Jimmy Olsen take jobs with a messenger service run by a man called Pearly, from whom Mary received the bogus bills. After Pearly grows suspicious and punishes a young messenger, Mary overhears a man in striped trousers discussing a plan to flood the city with phony money once Inspector Henderson is removed. Realizing Henderson's deadline threatens to send her to jail, Mary and Jimmy decide to follow Pearly and the stranger alone, since Clark Kent cannot be reached in time. The episode ends on this cliffhanger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
