What happens
Mary Hennig and Jimmy Olsen trail the counterfeiting leaders Mr. Paley and Curly through the city, hoping to expose the gang that has trapped Mary in a false charge of passing counterfeit money. Their pursuit leads them to a waterfront street where thick fog rolls in off the river. Jimmy and Mary try to find the two men's hideout, but they are caught by Herman, Paley's brutal henchman, who has followed them. Superman's ally Clark Kent is unable to reach them in time. The Adventures of Superman is a radio serial, and this episode first aired on October 31, 1946.
