What happens
Mary Hennig, a former juvenile gang leader now working at the Daily Planet, poses as a returning criminal to help Clark Kent and the police expose Pearly, a counterfeiter. Pearly has been passing fake bills through messengers who buy tickets and other goods. Mary wants to find two more messengers to join his network, and Jimmy Olsen volunteers to pose as one. Together with Beanie Martin they go to Pearly's new office on Front Street, where Pearly admits them, but a boy who recognizes them then arrives. The episode ends with the three young messengers trapped in the office, facing an uncertain fate.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
