What happens
Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen have been arrested for passing counterfeit money, which Jimmy says came from Mary Hennig, a part-time copy girl at the Daily Planet. Clark Kent devises a plan for Mary to go back to her old gang, led by Biff Morgan, and make contact with the counterfeiting operation. Mary takes a job from Mr. Pearly, a messenger service boss, and is sent to buy railroad tickets with a sum of suspicious bills. Her suspicions grow, and she calls Clark for help from a phone booth. The episode ends with Mary caught by Biff and Herman, and Superman searching the crowded stations for her. This is part five of The Adventures of Superman, broadcast in 1946.

Listen for: Mary's phone call to Clark from the railroad station booth, and Biff and Herman catching her there
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
