What happens
Clark Kent learns from Jim Olsen that Mary Hennig, a teenage former delinquent working as a coffee girl at the Daily Planet, passed counterfeit bills to him. Kent believes Mary's claim that an old associate gave her the money, and when Inspector Henderson refuses to release her, Kent proposes that Mary go undercover to infiltrate the counterfeit ring. Under pressure from the mayor to break the case within 48 hours, Henderson agrees to release her. Mary goes to meet Biff Morgan, pretending to have changed her mind about the easy money he offered, and is taken to meet his bosses. The episode ends with her uncertain whether she will be trusted.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
