What happens

Superman searches for Perry White and Jim Olsen, the Daily Planet editor and reporter, who have been captured by the hooded Clan of the Fiery Cross and bound to trees above Metropolis. Clark Kent, posing as a reporter, suspects that a member of the Unity House baseball team knows a Klansman and tries to identify the boy by the sound of his voice. Working with Beanie Martin, Clark questions the players one at a time in the locker room. Their search leads him to the sidelines, where a dejected former team member named Chuck Riggs is found. The Adventures of Superman radio series is broadcast in 1946, with the episode airing on June 24, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
