What happens
Chuck Riggs struggles with what to do after he learns that Clark Kent wants the boy who phoned him to come forward about the hooded attackers. Chuck's uncle, Matt Riggs, leader of the Clan of the Fiery Cross, has been watching him closely. Meanwhile, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen are held captive in a hillside hideout, where the clan prepares to tar and feather them. Their captors unmask a surprising figure, and Matt Riggs condemns the two prisoners to death. Clark Kent searches for them, while Beanie Martin, the copy boy, waits at the Daily Planet. The Adventures of Superman is a radio serial, first broadcast on June 21, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
