What happens

The Adventures of Superman is a radio serial, and this part, Part 13, aired on June 6, 1946. Vincent's men are determined to silence the reporters, who discovered Mary stealing letters that expose Martin Higgins, a mayoral candidate and Vincent's partner. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
