What happens
Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, locked in a cellar beneath a tenement owned by Al Vincent, follow the frightened juvenile Mary Henick through the dark as she offers to help them escape. Lois and Jimmy remain unsure whether Mary can be trusted, but they go with her anyway. Meanwhile Clark Kent, disguised as a gangster, questions a pool room proprietor to learn where Vincent lives, and then changes into Superman and heads for Vincent's hideout. The serial is The Adventures of Superman, and this episode part is from June 5, 1946. Its lead actors are not named in the transcript, so they are not given here.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
