What happens
Mrs. Oliver Drake, a dying old woman, summons her three greedy grandchildren, Chris, Blanche and Vivian, to her mansion and tells them she will leave her fortune to only one of them. Each grandchild schemes to win her favor, and Chris plays the two women against each other. Vivian and Blanche are then placed in a canoe on the lake, and a tense confrontation follows as the grandchildren try to outmaneuver one another. The story is presented as an episode of the Sealed Book series.
