What happens
Anne Drake arrives at Devil Island, a remote house off the New England coast that has belonged to her family for two hundred years, to live with the father she has never met. Her stepmother Hester and her uncle Henry welcome her, but Uncle Henry grows frightened, speaking of hallucinations and a family history of insanity. Anne begins to suspect that the people around her are not who they claim to be. The story is presented as a tale from the Sealed Book series.
