What happens

Joan Lyons and her friend Patsy Drew try to meet movie star Sandra Dale at a New York hotel and get her autograph. Joan returns home late, and her father, a lawyer named Lyons, is annoyed with her. Joan says she spent the afternoon with Sandra Dale and William Powell, but her father doubts her story. Later the girls hear what appears to be evidence of a romance between Mr. Lyons and Sandra Dale, and Joan begins to worry about her parents' marriage. Presented on the Screen Guild Theater, this 1943 episode stars Virginia Weidler, Edward Arnold and Jean Porter.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
