What happens

Margaret O'Brien is at home waiting to hear the Screen Guild Theater's radio version of Snow White, when her friend Jimmy Durante drops in. The two settle in to listen together. Jimmy keeps interrupting the story with jokes, asking questions and wandering off into his own imaginings, while Margaret patiently narrates the tale. The play follows Snow White's life in the house of the seven dwarfs and the jealous queen who schemes against her. Margaret and Jimmy's banter forms the frame around the story as it unfolds on the program.

Margaret O'Brien's home in Hollywood, where she and Jimmy Durante listen to a radio play of Snow White.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
