What happens

In 1938, Patrick O'Toole, a radio reporter for the American network, becomes suspicious when Kitty O'Hara marries the Austrian Baron Franz von Lubehr. Pat believes the Baron's arrival in each country is followed by a German takeover, and he follows the couple to Poland. The Screen Guild Theater's Lady Esther broadcast of Once Upon a Honeymoon, from November 20, 1944, stars Lana Turner as Kitty and John Hodiak as Pat. The first part of the story ends with Pat and Kitty facing danger in Warsaw as German forces draw near.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
