What happens
Steve Bennett, a stockbroker played by Frank Morgan, is challenged by his partners Ralston and Donnelly to tell nothing but the truth for twenty-four hours after he boasts of his honesty. Meanwhile Gwen Ralston, Ralston's sister played by Lucille Ball, asks Steve to invest ten thousand dollars for her so it will double overnight. The Screen Guild Theater presents this comedy, which aired on May 3, 1943, with Hanley Stafford as T.T. Ralston. Steve's bet puts his partnership and his romance with Gwen at risk as the household gathers around him.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
