What happens

Dr. Frank Peralta is found stabbed in his fashionable Fifth Avenue apartment, and identical twins Terry and Ruth Collins, his fiancée and her sister, are suspected. Lieutenant Stevenson cannot tell which twin was with the doctor that night, so he asks psychologist Dr. Scott Elliott to study the sisters. Terry and Ruth agree to take part in his tests, and Elliott begins to sense that one of them is troubled. Screen Directors Playhouse presents this 1950 radio adaptation of The Dark Mirror, first broadcast on March 31, 1950, with Olivia de Havilland playing both twin roles. The dramatization is led by Olivia de Havilland and David Ellis as Scott Elliott.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
