What happens
Andrew Castile, a successful playwright, meets Dr. Jane Alexander at a party after his opening night, and the two trade sparring views on love and science. Their sparring grows into a romance, and they marry, but their plans for separate apartments in the same building soon cause friction. Andrew's friend George advises him on the marriage, while Jane insists on keeping her own work and life. Andrew tests her with a staged plot, and the story turns on jealousy, illness and an unexpected quarantine. This is a comedy from the Screen Directors Playhouse, broadcast in 1949 on the program's regular Friday night slot and starring Charles Boyer and Gail Storm.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
