What happens

Ranger Bill takes over Arnie Nelson's job as flying game warden while Nelson is on extended vacation, with Gray Wolf and Stumpy assisting. Flying over the lake country, the crew rescues a drowning man, frees a buck locked in combat with another deer, and then spots two men fishing near the Bixen place. Bill suspects the Bixen boys, Barry and Leo, of poaching with the blessing of their father, Clay Bixen, who has always let them poach as long as they are not caught. Bill sets a trap, and the poachers are caught with their illegal catch. Ranger Bill then speaks with the boys and their father about right and wrong.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
