What happens

Ranger Bill investigates the disappearance of a black bear from a feeding station in Bear Valley National Park. Theodore Van Bruen and his son Ted, posing as commercial photographers, have built a steel-lined truck and a dart-firing tranquilizer gun to capture wild bears for a scientific experiment. Rangers Bill and Henry and the park staff, including Ralph and Stumpy, begin to suspect the men when bears keep vanishing from the feeding stations near the road. The episode is part of the Ranger Bill series, first broadcast on September 10, 1958.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
