What happens

Ronnie Quiller hears missionary Mr. Ludlow speak about needing financial support to return to South America, and decides to help. Ronnie later finds a diamond ring on the street and plans to sell it and give the money to the Ludlows. Ranger Bill and his friends Stumpy and Henry advise him to wait while the ring is advertised and held for the required period. Several claimants arrive, and Ronnie's reasoning is tested as he considers what God wants him to do. The Ranger Bill series, a radio drama, is presented here with its lead characters, and this episode is the 1961 installment originally aired on June 2.

Nadi Pine (Naughty Pine), a small town

Listen for: Ronnie's plan to sell the found ring to help the missionaries, and Bill's advice to make sure it is God's direction

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
