What happens
Norman Marks and his friend Jack Sanders set out at night for Canyon City, Norm driving fast along a mountain road. Unknown to them, a rockslide has been partly blocked by a barricade, and two state troopers, Neil Crown and Harry McCormick, are keeping watch. The troopers are soon in a crisis, and Norman is arrested for reckless driving. His attorney, Alfred Cassidy, believes Norman's account, and the case becomes a question of what the evidence really shows. Ranger Bill and Henry join the search for the missing facts, retracing the road that night.
