What happens

Ranger Bill and Officer Pat O'Rourke help inventor Jim Divers recover his son's stolen work when a delayed-action bomb goes missing. Mr. Divers, who has been too busy with his invention to spend time with young Jim, is told by Bill Jefferson that the boy may have taken the device. Jim is found at a friend's workshop, where he and the friend have been tinkering with the bomb. The bomb is found and a timing device must be jammed before it activates. Bill and Mr. Divers work by telephone to disable the mechanism. The episode is part of the Ranger Bill radio series.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
