What happens

Henry Scott is nominated for mayor of Naughty Pine during Youth Week, a school election. His rival Thornton Newcastle, a businessman's son, is angry at losing favour and plots against him. Henry is falsely accused of cheating on a math exam, and friends urge him to fight back. Ranger Bill advises Henry to answer the charge honestly and to stay out of the contest himself, since outside help would be unfair. Henry publicly defends his record in the local newspaper, and the story builds toward the election result.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
