What happens

Ranger Bill Jefferson of Naughty Pine is visited by Sam Smith and his son Danny, professional rattlesnake hunters who want permission to hunt in the local woods. Jack Harris, a young friend of the Ranger's, goes out with them to learn about snakes for a school report. Sam scoffs at religion as he works the hunt. Later, a canvas bag of rattlesnakes falls from their truck near the school, and the townsfolk must deal with the danger. This is the Ranger Bill radio drama, a Moody Bible Institute production from its radio studios in Chicago.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
