What happens
Ranger Bill and his friend Henry Scott welcome George Foster back to the town of Naughty Pine after seven years in an institution. Bill, a ranger, and Henry see George arrive at the bus terminal and offer him a ride home, though Henry at first doubts the former patient is safe. George, who was once posted to a remote lookout tower, has to face townspeople's rumors about his past. He finds work as a janitor at City Hall, but his family is harassed by a group of local youths. Bill and Henry step in to protect George and his daughter Sharon.
