What happens

Ranger Bill Jefferson and his companion Gray Wolf investigate the disappearance of Lieutenant Garnet Greentree, a World War I flier who vanished over the Andes Mountains forty years earlier. A plastic cast of an Aztec-style medallion stamped with the initials GG, sent by the family, prompts the trip to South America. The pair follow the trail through a remote village, a rockslide on a mountain road, and a hidden stair leading deep underground into an old mine. Their search leads them into the mine's depths and toward a man who has lived out of sight for decades.

The Andes Mountains in South America, including a remote village and a deep, ancient gold mine about a mile underground, with some scenes at a radio station and in the United States.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
