What happens
The Naughty Pine Boys Club prepares a Christmas pageant in the school auditorium, building a larger stage with help from Henry and Wally. Johnny doubts the Christmas story and his father's view of the Bible, and Henry asks him to read the Gospel of John. Singer Bill Pierce has agreed to perform at the pageant, and Wally is injured in an accident shortly before the show. The recording stops partway through the story, before the pageant itself.
Naughty Pine, at Christmas time, around the school auditorium and a hospital
Characters: Ranger Bill, Stumpy, Henry, Wally, Johnny, Hank, Bill Pierce
Listen for: Henry's conversation with Johnny about the Bible, and the hospital visit when Bill Pierce sings to Wally
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
