What happens

Ranger Bill and his companions are asked to help Inspector Andrew Anderson of the Secret Service find Dr. Jonathan Black, a nuclear scientist who vanished eighteen months earlier after a laboratory accident. Dr. Orlando, a government leader on nuclear work, is dying and wants Black to take his place, and the men are given only a short time to locate him. Anderson's inquiries lead the group into the mountains, where they search for a man who may not want to be found. The story is part of the Ranger Bill series and aired on June 6, 1956.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
