What happens
Frenchie Dussell, a huge lumberjack, leads his crew as they drive logs down a swollen spring river toward the mill. A raft crashes into a rock, and loose logs jam the narrows, flooding the valley. Frenchie and Ben Larson are forced to work together to break the jam, while Ranger Bill arrives to help. The episode is from the Ranger Bill series, first broadcast on May 23, 1956, and the voices of the lead actors are not given in the transcript.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
