What happens
Private detective Philip Marlowe is stranded by a blizzard when his car skids off a mountain road. He finds refuge at a nearby lodge, but discovers the residents despise him—he once shot and killed Virgil Barroki in self-defense during an investigation in Los Angeles. Now Marlowe is trapped in the snow with the dead man's widow and other members of Barroki's family, all consumed by rage and seeking revenge.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
