What happens
Phil Harris and Frankie Remley, still exhausted after an all-night poker game they have hidden from Alice Faye, lie on the patio in the afternoon. Alice believes they were only at a volunteer fireman's meeting, and she orders Phil to water the lawn. Phil recruits the children and then Frankie to help, and the two men soon start a series of ambitious schemes to make the chore easier. The Phil Harris Alice Faye Show aired on NBC on December 10, 1950, with Phil Harris and Alice Faye in the leading roles, and Elliott Lewis and Gale Gordon also featured in the cast.
The Harris home in Hollywood, its front lawn and patio, on a sunny afternoon.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
