What happens
Phil Harris and Alice Faye spend New Year's Eve hoping for an invitation to the party of their sponsor, Mr. Scott. When Mr. Scott's wife, Myrtle, and his friend Frankie Remley cause mix-ups, Phil and Alice join Frankie and Julius and head for the Scotts' house anyway.
