What happens
Phil Harris and Frankie Remley plan a golf trip to Pebble Beach for the Bing Crosby National Pro-Am tournament, where Phil defends last year's title. Alice Faye is not invited, and Phil's brother-in-law Willie Faye is a lot less welcome, so the pair hatch a scheme to keep Willie home. Their plans grow more elaborate as they recruit helpers, while Alice and Phil argue and reconcile. The Phil Harris-Alice Faye program ran on NBC, and this episode first aired on January 6, 1952, with Phil Harris and Alice Faye in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
