What happens
Phil Harris is ordered by his sponsor, Mr. Scott, to keep regular office hours at the Rexall building, and on his first day he resists the routine. His wife Alice Faye drives him downtown, and Phil finds his new office furnished in a style he dislikes. Frankie Remley, played by Elliot Lewis, joins him, and the two fall into a dispute with Curly-style banter over the job. Phil and Frankie sketch ideas for boosting Rexall's sales, and their scheme for a one-cent sale leads to a chaotic afternoon in the store. This 1949 episode of The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show aired on NBC on September 25, 1949.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
