What happens

Phil Harris and Alice Faye play a bandleader and his wife whose radio show is run by Mr. Scott, a Rexall executive. Julius Abruzio, a grocery boy and Mr. Scott's favorite, has become the target of Phil's jokes, and Mr. Scott's daughter Marjorie has fallen for him. Phil and Frankie Remley decide to break the couple up by faking a wedding call. Their scheme leads Julius and Marjorie to a confrontation at the Harris house, and Phil's loud threats make the situation worse. The program is a 1950 NBC broadcast, first aired March 12, 1950, on The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
