What happens
Phil Harris and Alice Faye read in the newspaper that Julius Abruzzio, their grocery boy, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft. Phil, Alice, and Elliott Lewis go to the police station to plead for the boy's release, insisting he is honest. Their visit is full of comic exchanges with the sergeant and with Julius himself. Afterward they decide to look into the case on their own, starting with the Cartwright household, where the stolen goods disappeared. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
