What happens
Phil Harris and Elliott Lewis go Christmas shopping, where Phil runs into his sponsor, Clyde Scott, and the two men begin trying to outdo each other with gifts. Phil overhears Clyde mention an expensive present and tries to discover what it is. Their boasting and rivalry escalate, and Phil decides to buy his boss an unusual gift. Alice Faye, Gale Gordon and Phil Harris star in this Phil Harris episode, first broadcast on NBC on December 14, 1952.
