What happens

Alice Faye's brother William reviews her investments each month, and her husband Phil Harris is amazed by her wealth. After Phil loses $200 on a horse race, he asks his friend Frankie Remley for advice on investing $500. Frankie suggests a small television station, and Phil hands over the money. Phil then tells Alice he has bought an interest in a television station, but Remley has actually bought him a wrestler. The episode is from The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show, which aired on NBC on November 27, 1949, and stars Phil Harris and Alice Faye.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
