What happens
Phil Harris, a singer, actor and radio host, is upset that he has not received a gold record from Mr. McDevitt of RCA Victor for a million-selling record, while his wife Alice Faye and friend Elliot Lewis try to cheer him up. Phil's friend Curly, played by Phil himself, lets slip that the record was a gold one, and the group heads to an antique shop. The series is The Phil Harris Show, broadcast on NBC on November 6, 1953. Phil Harris, Alice Faye, Elliot Lewis and Gale Gordon are the lead actors.

Listen for: Phil's comic battle with the sideboard he buys and the gold record he is waiting for from RCA
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
