What happens

Phil Harris and Alice Faye watch their daughters Phyllis and Alice make a debut on a new Hollywood television variety show for children of famous stars. The girls perform a poem and an impersonation of their father singing, and the parents are proud. Afterward, an agent named Remley signs the girls to a contract, keeping ninety percent of their earnings, and Phil sets out to undo the deal. The series, the original air date and the lead actors are as given in the broadcast details.

Listen for: Phil's attempts to get the girls out of Remley's contract, and Phil's song delivered in his own style

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
