What happens
Phil Harris and Frankie Remley drive with Alice Faye to the motor vehicle bureau so she can take her driver's license test. Alice's reckless driving leads to a knocked-over motorcycle and a squad car collision, and Phil ends up with a ticket after an officer finds his own license has expired. Phil then tries to renew it at the bureau, where he and Alice run into a series of obstacles and a clerk who insists on strict testing. The program was broadcast on NBC on May 21, 1950, in the Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show.

Listen for: Alice's bumpy driving lesson and the escalating run of motor vehicle bureau mix-ups
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
