What happens

Phil Harris and Alice Faye are at home in the morning while Alice is getting their children ready for the day. Phil is annoyed that Alice has been approached by the studio about making another picture, and the two argue about whether she should return to work and who will look after the house and the children. Later a producer named George Markham visits the house to discuss a story with Alice. The series, The Phil Harris, aired on NBC on November 10, 1946, and stars Phil Harris, Alice Faye, Elliott Lewis and Gale Gordon. The episode is a comedy built around the couple's domestic disagreements.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
