What happens

Connie Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High, prepares for the student-faculty wishing well dance. Her landlady Mrs. Davis, students Harriet Conklin, Walter Denman and Stretch Snodgrass, and her colleague Mr. Boynton, who keeps a frog named McDougall, all figure in the lead-up. Boynton has wished for a lock of Miss Brooks' hair, and the young people quietly plan to get it for him. The episode is part of the Our Miss Brooks series, which was broadcast on CBS Radio on June 12, 1949, with Eve Arden in the title role, alongside Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
