What happens
Our Miss Brooks, a high school English teacher, has arranged to accompany Mr. Boynton, the biology teacher, as Madison High's delegate to a teachers' convention in Evanston. Her plans unravel when Boynton falls ill and must stay home. Miss Brooks suspects that her rival, Miss Enright, has spread the story so she can take the trip instead. The episode is a comedy of misunderstandings and rivalries among the faculty at Madison High, centred on Miss Brooks and her efforts to keep her place on the trip. The original broadcast aired on CBS Radio on November 12, 1950, with Eve Arden in the title role and Gale Gordon and Jeff Chandler among the cast.
