What happens
Connie Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, begins a long-awaited summer vacation and heads for Crystal Lake, where she hopes to see Mr. Boynton, the biology teacher she admires. Her landlady Mrs. Davis, her student Walter Denton and his friend Stretch Snodgrass help her get ready, and Connie phones Mr. Boynton at the Beaver Lodge to check that he is still there. Her plans become complicated when the car needs repairs and her principal, Mr. Conklin, asks for a ride to the lake. This episode of Our Miss Brooks, first broadcast by CBS Radio on September 4, 1955, stars Eve Arden.
