What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is in love with biology teacher Philip Boynton, who is too shy to act on it. Their romance is complicated by principal Osgoode Conklin's strict rule against fraternization between staff. Meanwhile, Walter Denton and Miss Brooks worry about football player Stretch Snodgrass, whose play has dropped off because he has a secret girlfriend. Conklin asks Miss Brooks to find out who she is. The Our Miss Brooks series aired on CBS Radio, with Eve Arden starring, and this episode first aired on October 24, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
